My first imagiing scope seen here with my 80mm Meade guide scope mounted on top of a Skywatcher HEQ5 mount. I had to install a low profile focuser to obtain focus with a Canon EOS and then add a 35mm extension tube to gain eyepiece focus. This piggy back configuration required a third 10Kg counter weight to be added to get balance. All up, including cameras, this load came in at 17.5Kgs and produced some nice images but was really too heavy for the mount. I sold this scope.
